My Heart Beats Like a Romanian Bear
In 2019, I visited Romania for the first time. This country has interested me since my childhood. Mysterious and somehow stopped between yesterday and today. As a child I packed care packages for poor Romanian families and got letters back thanking for the packages. Later, I had great Romanian work colleagues who told me about their homeland, great landscapes, poor villages, corruption and free-ranging bears. A deep sense of connection. (2019)
