Hearing only Bad News from Radio Africa
News that reach us in Europe from Africa are almost always negative. We hear about famines, uprisings, bloody tribal wars, water shortage, deforestation, poaching of large animals, ivory trade, colonialism etc.. All this is reality. I had great prejudices about this continent. So I tried it out, wanted to see and experience it for myself. And came back with a completely different image of Africa. Because Africa is so much more than these news. (2018)
